Runcorn Linnets recaptured James from NPL Premier Division outfit Prescot Cables on December 9th 2025 - four years and four days after originally signing him from Widnes.
The now 25-year-old was with us for two months first time around, making ten appearances (with one goal).
Later rejoining Widnes, James went on to establish himself as one of the leading strikers in NPL West, sharing in their title success in 2024-25.
James spent his early career as an Academy player with Port Vale and has represented Newcastle Town and City of Liverpool.
