Juniors

Welcome to Runcorn Linnets Juniors
Affiliated to Cheshire County FA, we are the Junior section of Runcorn Linnets Football Club. The JFC have over 30 teams between the age groups of U7 and U18. This includes both mixed boys & girls teams as well as single age group girls only teams. We offer football development and participation to boys & girls from age 4 years up to 18 years old.

Our reputation and successful history has been forged and built upon, following the successful amalgamation between Runcorn Linnets FC, Inter Union JFC and Halton Girls Club. Our success on the pitch is mirrored by the high standards we set off it.

Runcorn Linnets JFC's home base is at our 'Halton Sports' playing fields, located at Stockham Lane, Murdishaw, Runcorn, which surrounds the APEC Taxis Linnets Stadium. Our Halton Sports Complex offers a Clubhouse, toilet & baby changing facilities, The 'Nest' Cafe, Free WiFi, off-road parking and 10 quality grass pitches (5v5, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11).

Our commitment to the FA Charter Standard

Recognising High Levels of Standard

The FA Charter Standard programme is a kitemark, which recognises and rewards high quality levels of provision in Club football. The Charter Standard was awarded to Runcorn Linnets and confirms that we are well run, sustainable, uphold child protection policies, provide quality coaching and child safety is paramount. The kitemark is a major focus of The FA´s £200 million FA National Game Strategy and has improved coaching, the number of girls´ football teams and safeguarding children.

The criteria is challenging and thorough, ensuring that all FA Standard Charter clubs display the highest levels of care, discipline, safety and respect. Once awarded, FA Charter Standard clubs and leagues are given an annual health check to ensure the standards of provision are maintained.

By achieving an FA Charter Standard Club Award, we are demonstrating to all members, parents, sponsors and the public, that we are a well-organised, safe Club offering opportunities for all.

The kitemark is renewed each year as a reassesment process takes place and can be withdrawn if a club has a poor disciplinary record, fails to attend in-service FA Charter Standard events, or is unable to continue to meet the criteria mentioned below.
