Hi, I’m Tom Dyson and I’ve been with the club for about three years now. I spent two of those as a coach before stepping into the manager role last season. I’ve really enjoyed seeing the players grow and being able to put our own style of football into action.
On matchdays, I usually start with one of my mum’s legendary fry-ups. After that, I’m constantly running through the team in my head – checking it’s the right one, thinking about backup plans just in case of late injuries or drop-outs. Then it’s into the car and I’ll have a good sing on the way to the ground to get in the zone.
Off the pitch, I’m always up for a bit of karaoke – can’t beat it.
One thing I always say to the players in training is: what you put in is what you’ll get out. On matchdays, it’s simple – play your game, do your job and if everyone does that, we’ll get the result.
