Runcorn Linnets FC backs ASB Awareness Week 2025

Runcorn Linnets FC is proud to be supporting ASB Awareness Week 2025 (30 June – 6 July), a national campaign led by Resolve to tackle anti-social behaviour and help build safer, stronger communities.

As a club rooted in the heart of Runcorn, Linnets understands the impact anti-social behaviour can have on local people – whether it's vandalism, noise issues, or neighbour disputes. That’s why the club is standing alongside Halton Borough Council and other local partners to say: enough is enough.

Throughout the week, Halton’s Community Safety Team will be out and about in Runcorn and Widnes with Cheshire Police, Fire & Rescue, and local housing associations. Together, they’ll be hosting drop-in events and speaking with residents about key issues in their area:

  • Mon 30 June – Runcorn town centre

  • Tue 1 July – Widnes town centre

  • Wed 2 July (11am–3pm) – Upton Community Centre, Widnes

  • Thu 3 July (10am–2pm) – Castlefields Community Centre, Runcorn

Anyone concerned about anti-social behaviour is encouraged to report it using this link:

Runcorn Linnets believes everyone has a part to play in creating safe, respectful communities – both on and off the pitch.
