Ryan became Linnets all-time record scorer in 2024-25 after taking co-charge of
team affairs when the club was between managers.
A vastly-experienced campaigner, Ryan's career started with 29 senior outings for
Oldham Athletic, his former clubs also including Curzon Ashton, Altrincham, Mossley
and Warrington Rylands from where he rejoined Runcorn in October 2022.
Originally joining in summer 2020, Ryan in 2021-22 scored 34 goals (including 25 in
the league) to earn the NPL West Division's Golden Boot.
