Former Everton Under 21s centre back Ed spent the second half of last season at North West Counties League Premier Division Play-off semi-finalists Arherton Laburnum Rovers after after a near 18-month absence from the game due to injury.
The now 21-year-old had progressed through Everton's Academy from the age of 10, signing professional forms in March 2023.
He established himself in the Under 18s side managed by former Everton and England left back Leighton Baines, now assistant to Toffees boss David Moyes.
Ed went on to make 10 Premier League 2 appearances in 2023-24.
