A summer capture from Vauxhall Motors, Calvin had made his debut for the Ellesmere Port club against Linnets in January.
A talented and experienced 6ft stopper, he had signed for the Motormen from Prescot Cables, where he had been ever-present over 54 games.
Calvin initially honed his skills as an Academy player with Wigan Athletic before stints at Burscough, AFC Fylde, Droylsden, Witton Albion and Marine.
In 2023-24, he helped City of Liverpool to finals of the Liverpool Senior Cup and The Pitching In Northern Premier League West Division Play-Offs.
Linnets were knocked out of both competitions by the Purps along the way, Calvin keeping clean sheets in a pair of 2-0 victories at APEC Taxis Stadium.
