Runcorn target third win at APEC
Runcorn Linnets must dust themselves down after falling to Hallam in the Isuzu FA Trophy, a quick turnaround bringing home NPL West action against Atherton Collieries this Tuesda
Manager Michael Ellison has admitted that eight points from the first six games has not been good enough.
Without a clean sheet in nine league and cup outings, the team is still conceding silly goals and needs to be more clinical in the opposition area when on top.
Ello was hugely appreciative of the travelling support in Sheffield on Sunday, stressing it will require a collective effort to get back on the winning trail.
Colls will arrive in 13th spot, three places below Linnets but with only one point fewer after playing one game less.
Runcorn have triumphed im two of their three league matches at APEC Taxis Stadium so far and will be eager to back up victory in their most recent home game against Lower Breck.
